Who I am

Rutt Visuals is a headshot and branding photography business run by Mark Rutt, based in Darlington, Maryland. If you have a question about your information, email hello@ruttvisuals.com.

What I collect

Only what you choose to send me:

• What you type into a form on this site, like your name, email, business, preferred dates, town and session details.
• Anything you send me by email, phone or text.
• The photos from your session, if you book one.

This site does not use advertising trackers or sell your information. It does not currently run analytics. If that changes, this page will say so.

How I use it

• To reply to your request and plan your session.
• To send your contract, invoices and finished photos.
• If you join the Headshot Days list, to email you when a date is set. That is all the list is for, and you can ask to be removed any time.

Who else handles it

A few services help run the site and the business. They only get what they need to do their job:

• Brevo delivers the email notifications this site sends me when you submit a form.
• Google Workspace hosts my email.
• My web host stores the site, including a copy of each form submission.
• Google Fonts serves the fonts on this site, so your browser connects to Google when the page loads.
• PayPal or Venmo process payment if you pay an invoice that way.

Your photos

Your contract spells out how your photos can be used, by you and by me, including whether any can appear in my portfolio.

How long I keep it

I keep inquiries and client records as long as I need them to work with you and for normal business and tax records. Ask and I will delete your information unless I am required to keep it.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I have about you, or to come off the email list. Email hello@ruttvisuals.com and I will take care of it.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies for visitors. WordPress sets cookies only when an administrator logs in.

Children

This site is meant for adults and businesses. I do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If I change how I handle information, I will update this page and the date below.
